Content Orientation Issue

Introduction

This article will discuss how to fix the content orientation on a Samsung, LG, or Philips Display.

Instruction

1. Samsung Display Content Orientation:

   1. Press the Exit button on the remote several times to ensure no programs or apps are running.

   2. Press the Settings button on the remote.

   3. Navigate to OnScreen Display.

   4. Under OnScreen Display, select Display Orientation.

   5. Set the Onscreen Menu Orientation to Landscape or Portrait.

   6. Set the Source Content Orientation to Landscape or Portrait.

   7. Ensure that the content displays correctly when you restart it.

2. LG Display Content Orientation:

   1. Press the Back button on the remote to ensure no content is playing.

   2. Press the Settings button on the remote.

   3. Navigate to Display.

   4. Under Display, select Rotation.

   5. Set the Screen Rotation to ensure correct content orientation.

   6. Set the External Input Rotation to ensure proper playback when the content starts again.

3. Philips Display Content Orientation:

   1. Press the Option button on the remote control.

   2. In the Quick Access menu, go to Picture Format.

   3. Select Picture Format by pressing OK on the remote.

   4. Use the cursor up/down to choose the appropriate Picture/Screen Format (Portrait or Landscape).

   5. Press the Option button to exit the menu.

4. Signagelive Content Orientation on Philips Display:

   1. Press 9 on the remote control.

   2. This opens the Signagelive Settings page.

   3. Set the screen rotation to 90 or 270 degrees, depending on the display’s mounting orientation.
